Location: CANW Residential Children’s Homes (Wilpshire, Blackburn)
Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week (flexible rota including weekends)
Salary: £30,018 – £32,004

We are looking for a dedicated Residential Therapist to join our team and help transform lives.
As a Residential Therapist, you will play a vital part in supporting the emotional and mental wellbeing of children and young people living in our homes. You will:
Provide 1:1 and group therapeutic interventions
Identify emotional and mental health needs through assessment
Deliver a range of creative, person-centered and solution-focused therapeutic approach
Support residential staff teams through guidance, reflective discussion and mental health workshops
Work collaboratively across agencies to achieve the best outcomes
Contribute to service development and ensure practice aligns with safeguarding, Ofsted and CANW standards

Therapeutic work with children and young people

Knowledge of childcare legislative frameworks

Ability to work flexibly, including weekends
Full UK driving licence and access to transport is essential
